These are the three main rules, a very important trait to have is earned,Skill.
I personally would ove to help any player learn to excel in PvP or even PvE, One thing that can be done by yourself is be euiped with the best there is, it will be worth it. Talk to me in game or in the forums and I'll let you in on my secrets .

Very short, basic guide. I like it.

I'll also add that it's good to have a few friends from real life in your faction.
As well as a base FAR away from spawn.
Bases are best built underground.

PVP-Related tips;
When fighting underwater, make sure you are UNDERNEATH your opponent, and you will hit them easier. (Strange, eh?)
When using a bow, Jump right before you shoot. (for some reason arrows fly further)
